Welcome to BeBox. Please read the following important terms and conditions before using our Website and booking any Sessions. These are the Terms and Conditions on which we supply our services and the Sessions to you.
Please read these Terms and Conditions carefully before you submit any order for a booking with BeBox. These terms tell you who we are, how to make any booking with us, how we will provide the products and services to you, what to do if there is a problem and other important information.
These Terms and Conditions sets out:
- your legal rights and responsibilities;
- our legal rights and responsibilities; and
- certain key information required by law.
In these Terms and Conditions:
- “We”, “us” or “our” means BeBox Ltd (“BeBox”). BeBox are registered in England and Wales under company number: 09660479. Our registered business address is 6 Percy Street, London, W1T 1DQ;
- “You” or “your” means the person accessing, browsing or purchasing meditation sessions from our site;
- “Session” means solo or group-based meditations specified for a particular start and end time as detailed in your booking, or a group of sessions
- “Venue” means 21 Club Row, London, E2 7EY.
- “Website” means the BeBox web site to be found at www.be-box.com.
It is your responsibility to determine whether you are subject to any physical or mental condition which might prevent you from safely participating in any Session. If you are in any doubt, you must consult a medical practitioner before participating in any Session. BeBox will accept no liability for harm or distress caused to you during a Session where you have not consulted a medical practitioner before participating in that Session. BeBox representatives are not medical practitioners and cannot provide any medical advice to you.
If you are buying the Session as a gift, you are responsible for ensuring that the Session participant is made aware of these Terms and Conditions in full and that they agree to abide by them. BeBox takes no responsibility or liability for the consequences from your failure to make the participant aware of these Terms and Conditions.
We reserve the right to change these Terms and Conditions at any time. It is your responsibility to check the Terms and Conditions on the Website to ensure you understand the most current and up to date Terms and Conditions, and as such, you agree to abide by the most recent version of BeBox Terms and Conditions each time you view and use the Website. You are accordingly advised to consult the BeBox Terms and Conditions each time you view and use the Website. Do not use the Website if you do not agree to all of the Terms and Conditions.
These Terms and Conditions apply to the Sessions and services provided by BeBox to the exclusion of any other terms that you may seek to impose or incorporate, or which are implied by trade, custom, practice or the course of dealing.
Our Website is solely for the promotion of Sessions at the Venue in the UK.

To reserve an individual Session or package of multiple Sessions, you can place an order on the Website using our booking and purchase process.
By placing an order through the Website for a Session this constitutes an offer by you to purchase the Session(s) in accordance with these Terms and Conditions.
Times and dates of Sessions are subject to availability and, following a successful booking, we will acknowledge it by sending you a confirmation email. The order will only be deemed to be accepted when we issue you with a confirmation email and at this point a contract for the provision of the Sessions will come into existence.
You are responsible for ensuring that the terms of the order and any information you provide as part of the booking process are complete and accurate.
All Sessions will take place at the Venue. We will provide the Session to you on the date and the time agreed with you during the ordering process. The completion of the provision of services to you and any contractual relationship with you will terminate at the end of the Session.
Sessions are for personal use only. You are not entitled to use the Session for any business or commercial purposes or resell it for a profit in money or money’s worth.
IF YOU ARE UNDER THE AGE OF 18 YOU ARE NOT PERMITTED TO BUY ANY SESSIONS FROM THE WEBSITE OR PARTICIPATE IN ANY SESSIONS.
As part of the booking process for a Session you will have to confirm that you are 18 years old or older. If you make a false declaration during the booking process or purchase a Session as a gift for any person under the age of 18, BeBox will accept no liability for any harm or distress caused to persons under the age of 18 who participate in a Session. BeBox reserves the right to ask for valid identification as evidence of a person’s age before a Session. Failure to provide any valid identification to prove your age may preclude you, at BeBox’s absolute discretion, from participating in a Session. Denial of fulfilling an appointment due to a failure of providing valid identification will result in the appointment being cancelled and you will not be entitled to receive a refund for the cancelled Session booking.
In the event that you book a Session and you or the participant fails to arrive at the Venue in time for the designated Session, that Session will be cancelled and the payment for the Session forfeit and no refund shall be payable to you.
BE AWARE THAT BEBOX WILL BE LOCATED AT THE VENUE, FOR A LIMITED PERIOD, ENDING BEFORE THE END OF JANUARY 2018.
We will inform all people who have left their contact details of the exact end date in due course. Please ensure all outstanding paid-for Sessions are used before this end date and any remaining Session refund requested within seven (7) days of the end of January 2018, as any remaining account balances after this refund period will not be refundable and we reserve the right to donated any unclaimed balances to our chosen charity.
You acknowledge that for the purposes of the Data Protection Act 1998, you are the data controller and we are the data processor in respect of any of your personal data.
We at BeBox recognise the importance of your privacy, and that you have a right to control how your personal information is collected, processed and used. Our Privacy
Any personal information supplied to us is processed in accordance with data protection laws and is solely used to identify and process your orders, organise delivery and provide you with more information on our products and design services via our online newsletter (if you are a subscriber). You have the right to stop receiving communications from us at any time by contacting us and asking us to stop communicating with you.
We will not, under any circumstances, pass on personal details to third parties without first requesting your consent. When necessary, customer information will, however, be shared with one or more third parties solely for the purpose of credit card authorisations, order fulfilment and in compliance with applicable law.
Your credit/debit card will be charged for your order when you submit your reservation. Please read and check your order carefully before submitting it.
All transactions are in Great British Pounds (£GBP) and all prices are inclusive of Value Added Tax (VAT).
We will do all that we reasonably can to ensure that all of the information you give us when paying for the Session is secure. All online purchases with BeBox are processed using Paysafe Payments. (It is our understanding that Paysafe has been PCI compliant for the past ten years and is audited annually by a PCI-DSS approved Qualified Security Assessor (QSA). Paysafe undertakes regular vulnerability scans and penetration tests via PCI-DSS approved vendors and have Information Security, Legal and Audit teams in place to make certain that they provide the best in security).
In the absence of negligence on our part we will not be legally responsible or liable to you for any loss that you may suffer if a third party gains unauthorised access to any information that you give us.
CANCELLATION & REFUND POLICY
If you need to cancel a booking for a Session, you must use the cancellation process in your BeBox account.
Cancellations without charge can be made up to 48 hours in advance of the Session you book. Cancellations with less than 48 hours’ notice will still incur a full charge and no refund will be paid to you.
CANCELLATIONS BY BEBOX
We do everything we reasonably can to provide Sessions to those who have booked them, but as with any service, things may happen from time to time which prevent us from doing so. An example might be a problem arising in the venue location of the Session.
If we do need to cancel a Session, we will let you know as soon as possible and offer you an alternative appointment. If the alternative appointment is not acceptable to you then you will be entitled to request and we will refund you the price of the Session in full.
Meditation is something that millions of people have used to enhance their sense of well-being. Our Website describes the nature of the Sessions and it’s up to you to determine whether a Session is the right thing for you.
By booking a Session, you confirm that you understand that Sessions are not a therapeutic service, and that the venue is not a therapeutic facility.
Sessions are not a substitute for counselling, psychotherapy or ongoing medical advice from a qualified medical practitioner. Do not book a Session if you intend it to confer any therapeutic benefit.
Some Sessions may involve moderate physical activity; it is your responsibility to ensure that you are medically fit enough to engage in any activity involved in the Session. If at any time you feel any discomfort or uncertainty regarding any physical activity involved in the Session, do not take part in it, or if you have started the Session, you must cease participation in that Session immediately.
Everyone reacts in their own way to the practice of mindfulness. You will not receive any one-to-one guidance or assessment from us prior to, during, or after any Session. It’s your responsibility to prepare for and deal with any emotional or psychological issues that you may experience as a result of any Session.
If you feel unwell at any time, please leave the BeBox space, sit and rest in natural light. With your feet on the ground, taking LONG deep breaths. If you still feel unwell, please contact an assistant or the emergency services.
BeBox does not guarantee that any benefit or advantage will be conferred on you for participating in a Session and your participation is at your sole risk and discretion.
RESPECT FOR THE BEBOX SPACE
You must leave the studio in the manner that you would like someone to find it.
Your personal BeBox Session is your time, for you. Please respect the space, respect yourself and respect those who will also use the space.
- Your session will begin promptly on time so please arrive at the Venue at least five (5) minutes before the start of your Session.
- You are not permitted to consume food or drink in the BeBox space.
- Your Session is designed for the capacity as stated when you book.
- The art is an integral part of your experience but like any art gallery please respect it and refrain from touching it.
- Remove footwear and place with any other belongings, including all technological devices such as phones, tablets, music devices, recording devices (all of which are prohibited from being used during a Session), behind you.
- Be seated however you feel comfortable – using the stool or cushions; or feel free to lie on the floor.
- When your Session ends, please reset the space as you would like someone to find it.
- Help us keep the BeBox space tidy by taking any rubbish with you.
RIGHT TO ADMISSION
In addition to the above rules for respecting the space, you agree to comply with all customary health and safety, licensing, and other regulations whilst at the Venue.
The management of the Venue reserves the right to refuse admission to the Venue in reasonable circumstances including for health and safety, or licensing reasons.
We also reserve the right to request that you leave the Session or the Venue at any point on reasonable grounds and may take any appropriate action to enforce this right. By way of example, we may remove any person who:
- uses threatening, abusive or insulting words or behaviour or in any way provokes or behaves in a manner which may provoke a breach of the peace; or
- smokes in the Venue or the BeBox space – including the use of e-cigarettes etc.; or
- in our (or the Venue operator’s) reasonable opinion, is acting under the influence of alcohol or drugs; or
- fails, when required, to produce valid and current proof of identity or age.
If you fail to observe these requirements, or we reasonably consider that your conduct is or may be detrimental to us, the Venue, or other people in the Session, we may refuse to admit you to (or bar you from) any Session and you will not be entitled to a refund.
INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY RIGHTS & RECORDINGS
All intellectual property rights in or arising out of or in connection with the BeBox services or the Sessions shall be owned by BeBox. We have taken a lot of time, resources and energy to make your Session a unique and high-quality experience. We own or licence the intellectual property rights in the concept, sound, light and video elements of the Session and you are not entitled to record or reproduce them without our prior consent in writing. We reserve all our rights in the soundtrack, video and any lighting configurations for the Session.
The use of equipment for recording or transmitting (by digital or other means) any audio, visual or audio-visual material or any information or data during any Session is strictly prohibited. Unauthorised recordings, tapes, films or similar items may be confiscated and destroyed. Any recording made of a Session in breach of these conditions shall belong to us. The Venue will not be liable for any loss, theft or damage to confiscated items.
You are also prohibited from posting or making available your participation in the Session on any social media (including but not limited to Facebook, Instagram and other such public forums) during the Session or after the Session as a recorded experience.
You have the right to expect the Sessions to be carried out by us with reasonable skill and care. Your legal rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 (also known as ‘statutory rights’) are unaffected by any of these terms unless we have told you otherwise. You may also have other rights in law. LIMITITATION OF LIABILITY: THE CUSTOMER’S ATTENTION IS PARTICULALRY DRAWN TO THIS SECTION
Nothing in these Terms and Conditions shall limit our liability to you for:
- death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or the negligence of our employees;
- fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation; or
- any liability which cannot be excluded by applicable law.
Subject to the above paragraph, we shall have no liability to you, whether in contract, tort (including negligence), for breach of statutory duty, or otherwise, arising under or in connection with these Terms and Conditions for:
- loss of profit;
- loss of sales or business;
- losses not foreseeable to you and us when the contract was formed;
- losses to non-consumers;
- loss of damage to goodwill; or
- any indirect or consequential loss.
The terms implied by the Supply of Goods and Services Act 1982 are, to the fullest extent permitted by law, excluded from these Terms and Conditions and any contract formed as a result of services provided under these Terms and Conditions.
We will try to resolve any disputes with you quickly and efficiently.
Please contact us as soon as possible if you are unhappy with:
- the Sessions;
- our service to you; or
- any other matter relating to the Session and the BeBox services.
If you and we cannot resolve a dispute using our internal complaint handling procedure, we will:
- let you know that we cannot settle the dispute with you; and
- you may also use the online dispute resolution (ODR) platform to resolve the dispute with us. For more details, please visit the website on the ‘Your Europe’ portal: http://ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr/.
If you want to take court proceedings, the relevant courts of England will have exclusive jurisdiction in relation to these Terms and Conditions, the BeBox services and any dispute arising in relation thereto.
Relevant English law will apply to these Terms and Conditions and the provision of the BeBox services.
THIRD PARTY RIGHTS
No one other than a party who purchases a Session or who participates in a Session pursuant to these Terms and Conditions will have any right to enforce any provision of these Terms and Conditions.
OTHER IMPORTANT TERMS
We may transfer our rights and obligations under these Terms and Conditions to another organisation. We will contact you and let you know if we plan to do this. If you are unhappy with the transfer you may contact us to cancel your booking within seven (7) days of us telling you about it and we will refund you any payments you have made to us in advance for any Session not provided.
Each of the paragraphs of these Terms and Conditions operate separately. If any court or relevant authority decides that any of them are unlawful, the remaining paragraphs will remain in full force and effect.
